Owen Brown Estates is a deed-restricted community of 45 homes in the Village of Hickory Hills, one of the 10 villages of the planned community of Columbia, Maryland. Most homes were built around 1980 - give or take a few years. Avery Homes was the original builder and was followed by the K&M Development Corporation and Allan Homes. Owen Brown Estates is an out-parcel of Columbia and therefore not part of the Columbia Association.

For our current and future residents, we maintain a real estate database where we list of homes for sale as well as homes recently sold in our own neighborhood and in the adjacent neighborhood of Owen Brown Woods..

Owen Brown Estates is a deed-restricted community and its homeowners are bound by a Covenant recorded in Howard County on September 7, 1978. No homeowner association exists but an Architectural Committee was elected in 2005 as described in Article I of the covenant.

Residents of Owen Brown Estates are also encouraged to join the discussion group that has been created for their exclusive use. Use it to meet your neighbors, discuss neighborhood and association issues and share information on services directly with them.

  • Llanfair Dr - 6120 to 6200 (34 homes)
  • Devon Dr - 6163 to 6172 (6 homes)
  • Scarborough Way - 6135 to 6143 (5 homes)
